EXCURSION BY BOAT TO ISLANDS ZLARIN AND KRAPANJ

Departure from Primošten harbour at 10.00.

A pleasant ride to the island of Zlarin. A visit to the museum and workshop of manual processing of coral. Free time for exploring the island.

Departure by boat to the island Krapanj. Lunch on board.

Upon arrival at Krapanj, visit to the Gallery of sponges and free time for sightseeing or swimming.

Arrival at Primosten around 16.30

 

The price is 55 € kn/person. Children age 0-6 – free, 6-12 – 50% discount

The price includes: boat ride, guide, lunch (aperitive, fish or meat, salad, bread, wine or juice), entrance ticket for the museum.

 

ZLARIN - the island of corals

Island of idyllic nature, dense pine forest and various beaches and bays delights all visitors. The inhabitants of Zlarin are famous for the extraction and processing of corals that they started to do since the 15th century. In Zlarin even today operates „koraljarnica“ where they are manually processing corals and selling jewelry. Museum of corals and Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which was built on the ruins of a Gothic church from the 15th century are worth visiting.

 

KRAPANJ - the lowest and smallest inhabited island in the Adriatic. His altitude does not exceed 1.25 m. It is known for its tradition of harvesting and processing sponges.
